CREW 2009 begins!

CREW 2009 has officially begun, and what a fun-filled not to mention hectic day it was. The CREW began streaming in at 08:30 accompanied by mums, dads, granma’s and siblings.

The day kicked off with a talk by Adrian Louw who is the Bush Radio Program Integrator. In his address Adrian welcomed not only the CREW but their parents as well to the Bush Radio family. He then went on to give a brief account of Bush Radio and CREW’s history. This was then rounded off with a tour for parents and guardians, but it was also time to hit the road running for CREW.

The rest of the day was spent in activities that allowed an analysis of the communities the CREW participants reside in. in so doing, issues and/or activities that impacted their lives both negatively and positively were identified. This list will be used as a guideline for show topics.

CREW continues next Saturday with technical training.
